It's not what we do that makes us different - but why we do it.
We are Knights. Men committed to acting on our faith and helping the world. Men whose strong dedication to serving the Church is rooted in our Order's humble beginnings. When Father Michael J. McGivney invited a few parishoners to gather in the basement of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Connecticut, his hope was to unite men in their faith and provide for Catholic families in time of need. Guided by four core principles - charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism - other Catholic men soon followed suit and for almost 125 years the Order has flourished. Now it's your turn to be a part of it.
The power of faith is immeasurable, but what a Knight does with it is not.
As
Knights, our faith is our foundation. Dedicated to Good works, to
becoming stronger fathers, husbands and men, we offer many
opportunities for Catholic families to be active and faithful the
programs in our parish... in our community... and all over the world.
We are an active volunteer organization that aids and generates funds
for needy causes. Our members nationwide have volunteered hundreds of
millions of hours and raised over a billion dollars to aid humanity,
anywhere anyone is in need. And everything our local Council here in
beautiful Bristow, Virginia does follows three basic guidelines: Faith,
Family, and Fun. If it doesn't include all three of those things, we
don't do it. And if it's worth doing, those three elements become a
part of it.
